Happy New Year! As 2013 comes to an end I look back on everything that has happened in my life this past year. The biggest thing that happened was moving to Uganda with my family. It's crazy to think that was two months ago! I hope you all had an eventful year and I am looking forward to the adventures 2014 will bring!

Emma! I have enjoyed reading about all your adventures in Africa. I understand what you mean when you talk about seeing the struggles of daily life for the locals but it's an amazing sight to see them filled with laughter and joy nonetheless. You've been blessed with a truly incredible experience and you're living my dream for sure. You've got a true talent for writing and photography so keep up the great work. Just remember to never stop serving and loving everyone with an open heart and a smiling face.
